After successful programs around the world (such as Stanford University, INSEAD and Olympic Games amongst others…) UAEU Science & Innovation Park, the College of Science and Arab Excellence are pleased to announce the launch of the META EXCELLENCE PROGRAM for Emirati students within the College of Science.
This program is delivered with the support and partnership J.P.Morgan (the largest Financial Institution in the World) and several other global companies such as Linkedin, General Electric amongst others…
Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be provided with either career and job opportunities with leading global companies based in the UAE and globally, or will be supported to become successful entrepreneurs.

PHASES of the program:
Phase 1 : Mindset shifT: 5 workshops by Arab Excellence
5 workshops will cover a number of critical skills: inspirational case studies from local role models, formulating mid and long term vision, professional and personal roadmaps, proactive networking skills, professional resume, cover letter, communications, public speaking, networking, creating professional presence online, etc…
Phase 2: Private sector engagement:
Phase 2 includes dynamic interactions and exposure to prestigious private sector companies and profound entrepreneurs and startups to help student understand the world of work, sector and economy and will match students with mentors from the private sectors to equip the students with practical steps to reach career readiness and employability. Prestigious companies includes JP. Morgan, Linkedin, General Electric etc…
Phase 3 – OPTION 1: Focus Track: EMPLOYABILITY
Students will go though the Employment path to be ready to obtain jobs in several partner companies and receive hands-on experience in the corporate world. This phase includes Resume nalization, interview skills, job/ internship matching and placement, job shadowing …etc this program is delivered in partnership with Arab Excellence.
OR Phase 3 – OPTION 2: Focus Track: Entrepreneurship
Students will go though the journey of self-employment and get introduced to entrepreneurship track through offering entrepreneurial soft skills such as Design Thinking including workshops on ideation, prototyping, testing and business modeling, Idea to prototype program, and prototype to market program. Moreover, a set of hard skills will be offered to students to develop their products and prototypes utilizing technology and AI, students will have access to UAEU SIP facility such as the makers space and google hub. UAEU SIP will o er technical workshops such as Mobile app development, coding, 3D printing and design, Laser cutting .. Etc. finally selected students will have access to incubation and acceleration program

UAE University Science & Innovation Park, the College of Science at UAEU and Arab Excellence seek to support talented Emirati students into their successful integration into the private sector, be it through employment, self-Employment or SMEs creation
Through a series of programs and mentoring addressing Employability, Career guidance and soft skills, students will be able to architect and build their professional vision and career roadmap based on the field of studies, their interests and ambitions as well the priority sectors currently in the National Agenda of the UAE.
Every track in this innovative programme will be composed of:
- Self-Development: Mindset shift into a growth Mindset and Soft skills boot-camps
- Exposure, interaction and skilling with the private sector & professional
- Customised Individual Career path for each student with regular mentorship
- Gamified process and centralised opportunities
For greater impact, UAEUSIP, The College of Sciences and Arab Excellence in collaboration with partner organizations on the ground will identify the recruitment needs of partner companies and priority sectors of the country of, and will design and deliver training programs catering to the pre-selected/identified fields professional preferences
Students across all phases will have access to events, programs and activities offered by UAEU SIP. This includes:
– SIP Talks Series: A series of inspirational talks by role models followed by interactive discussion to inspire the audience and infuse an entrepreneurial mindset.
– Science Slam: Science Slam is a platform for researchers to present their ideas and to build a network of like-minded know- ledge seekers and entrepreneurs.
– Industry Liaison Program: The program is designed to support technology transfer and commercialisation using a market-
pull approach.
– Other Programs, Events and Initiatives: such as Cisco Academy Fundamental Courses, workshops and courses, Industry Focused Webinars etc…
CRITERIA and SELECTION PROCESS
– Students of the College of Sciences at UAEU University: Males and Females
– Between 18 and 25 years-old
– A vision and willingness for change and career aspiration
– Willing to commit to a self-development program
Selection will be based on collected applications. CoS will invite students to attend the information session and then will circulate and broadcast the call for applications
